UPdate

I've had to restart task #1 running 2x a week.

I've lost 1 of 10 lbs for item #2.

I have 3 of 16 stroller walks in, just got to keep it up now for item #5.

I had one last time of Taco Bell #14, on Monday 6/2 and plan to limit it to none or 1, though I'm not changing my goal on here.

I did a second month of #20 (scrap your life).

I'm starting #40 today and hope to complete. This can be on any of my blogs, and can just be a short post.

I started on #42.

For #21 I've started a plan, I've addressed envelopes to my MIL and her sisters, and plan to purchase stamps today. Part of my trouble with getting notes out to them is the stamps. I have a zillion letters written around the house, but I get hung up on that issue. I can always put the stamped letter into the mailbox to mail.
So that's what I came up with to try to do better. Have envelopes (12 & 6 ready to go. Then I just have to quick type or write up something and send it off)

I've donated more rice #44.

I did #51 and know what would be needed. Usure if I'll ever do it, but it was something I wanted to find out about. I do need to lose a little weight before I'd be considered to be put on their 'roster'.

I've made some progress

I started with #1 and went for a run Saturday night-it felt really good-but I was sore for a few days afterwards. Granted I probably should have done my stroller walks a bit more before diving into running which I haven't done since like July of 06. Ah well. One down, 23 to go.

I also went for a walk with the kids #5, tonight.

I did a salad #8 for lunch today.

Doanted another bit of rice #44.

And, completed #70, my first. Not too hard a task though.

101 in 1001

I've seen these "101 in 1001" lists around the internet for quite some time now, and with a new blog and the summer approaching, I decided to create my own. Some of these tasks will inevitably complete themselves, while others will be more of a challenge.

Anyway, here it is:

The Mission:Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:

Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined.

Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as new year’s resolutions.

The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for
organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Start Day: April 30, 2008
End Day: January 26, 2011

Green are in progress and pink are completed.

I  reserve the right to change goals if needed, or remove and replace if
such should need doing.
